Crit'Air sticker for the French low-emission zones
In the French low-emission zones (ZFE) a Crit'Air sticker on the windscreen is mandatory, also for foreign vehicles. The class depends on fuel and Euro class. Zonetoegang shows per number plate which class fits your vehicle and which zones you may enter.
Mandatory sticker, also for foreign plates
You order a Crit'Air sticker on the official site certificat-air.gouv.fr; other sites charge extra. Large cities such as Paris, Lyon and Grenoble have a ZFE with their own rules and exemptions. Zonetoegang colours the zones per number plate and links to the official registration.
Per number plate, not per vehicle category
Enter the number plate and Zonetoegang fetches the vehicle from the RDW: Euro class, CO2 class, fuel, weight, vehicle type and date of first admission. Every zone then gets a verdict for exactly that vehicle: may enter, may enter until a date, or no access. You see it straight away on the map.
Only official sources, updated daily
Zonetoegang uses only government sources: NDW, RDW, Rijkswaterstaat, the Dutch government (milieuzones.nl and opwegnaarzes.nl), officielebekendmakingen.nl and the authorities of other countries. A new traffic decision about a zone is included the next morning.
